The Guernsey – Fort Laramie Christmas bird count is Dec. 27. The public is welcome to participate. Cheyenne – High Plains Audubon members will leave from Lions Park in Cheyenne at 7:30 a.m. and return late in the day. Local birders will meet at 8 a.m. at Fort Laramie and then meet the Cheyenne group at 10 a.m. at the main entrance to Guernsey State Park.
