    The Lady Hornets played hard this weekend and it payed off. The Lady hornets won both games leaving this weekend as champs. The first game was against Front Range on Friday January, 12th. The final score was 59 to 17. The game leaders were #20 Kammie Ragsdale, #22 Hyleigh Fornstrom, and #12 Torri Fornstrom.     The Burns Boys Broncs played three games this past week. The first game was against Mitchell, second was against Glenrock, and with Lusk in the end. During the game against Mitchell, the Broncs lost by 13 points. In the first period Mitchell scored 17 points compared to Burns’ 5 points.     In the year of 2017 there were two donations made by the Points West Bank. One donation went to the Pine Bluffs Student Council, and another went to the Pine Bluffs Senior Center. Aside from the Student Councils ideas for their donation, the Senior Center has not yet decided where the donation will be used.     At The Tongue River Tournament last weekend the Burns Boys Broncs had a result of one win and two losses. The Broncs’ first game of the tournament was against Big Horn Varsity. In the first period, Big Horn scored twenty-five points. During second period Big Horn managed to bring the score to 38 .v.s. 11 points.     The Burns Broncs played hard during last weeks tournament at Lusk. The Broncs played a total of 3 games in the Lusk Tournament. During the game against Greybull the Broncs lost 36 to 42. In the 1st period Greybull pulled ahead 12 to 5. By the 2nd period, Greybull had continued to pull ahead with a score 23 to 15. 3rd period started a tough battle for the win.     The Pine Bluffs Hornets played hard at their tournament this past weekend. During their first against the Wyoming Indians the Hornets won by 16 points. In the 1st period the hornets had a total of 19 points. Then in the 2nd period the Hornets had managed to score another 22 points bringing the score to 41 to 24. 3rd period is when they took a huge lead over the Wyoming Indians.     The Eagles had one First Team honoree in left tackle Travis Romsa. The junior from Burns, Wyoming, named the team's MVP in 2017, was instrumental to an Eagle offensive line which finished as the best unit in the league at preventing quarterback sacks.
