On Thursday November 19th 10 people gathered to watch and learn the great skills of Ashley Hottell. Sadie's Cafe hosted the ornament painting party. A Rural Craft Fair was hosted by the Burns Town Hall this past weekend. Crafters and vendors from all over the tri-state area came to sell their wares. Crafters from Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado loaded the area with many homemade items like towels, baked goods, doilies, wood crafts, barbed wire crafts, food, items made of antlers, honey, and much more. The Laramie County Christmas basket Program is a great thing for the community, but not many understand or even know what this program does. The program was initially founded in 1962 by Robert S. Donald Eisenhower American Legion Post 60 has been forced to cancel their Veterans Day activities. Several members, family, and legion friends were able to help place flags and memorials at the cemetery. The Texas Trail Market has been serving and hosting the annual meeting for over 35 years. This year things will be a little bit different due to the recent community outbreak of Covid-19. At the very first meeting in 1985 Texas Trail Market served donuts. They served about 192 doughnuts. At the 2019 meeting they served roughly 150 people with a full meal, desserts included. Pine Bluffs own Refugio Cerenil spent Halloween in competition at the Cowboy State Raw Meet in Casper. This was Cerenil's first time at the Cowboy State Raw Meet Competition in Casper. This past weekend has proven to be an abnormally cold one even for Wyoming. Although it tends to be cold and windy in late October the temperatures usually range from 68 to 55degrees. Temperatures rarely falling below 39 degrees and hardly exceeding 81 degrees. On October 25th the temperature ranged from a high off 11 degrees and low of 2 degrees averaging out to about 7 degrees most of the day. When it comes to new things, there always seems to be kinks that need to be worked out. For the Pine Bluffs new elementary school the same would apply.
