Deidre Hanson is retiring as school nurse after 24 years at Albin Elementary, Albin High School, when it existed, and the Pine Bluffs Schools. “Just at school, I also work at the hospital. I’m going to continue to work at the hospital,” Hanson said. In April, Hanson was recognized as Wyoming’s America’ Greatest School Nurse.     On Monday, May 29 of this year the nation will come together to recognize those of her young who have given their lives in the service of our country. In Pine Bluffs and the surrounding communities there is much to be grateful for the fact that so few of their sons and daughters have paid the supreme sacrifice.
