    Children of all ages turned out Saturday, Oct. 1 at the parking lot at the Pine Bluffs Community Center for the 4th Annual Touch A Truck or Tractor event. Not only trucks and tractors available for kids to check out, but HealthONE AirLife flew in one of their helicopters from Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.     Starting in 2017, the Wyoming Department of Transportation will add two new plate designs featuring the Lower Green River Lake and Squaretop Mountain to the state's 12 specialty plates, the prestige plates and the standard plates motorists receive at the county when registering their vehicles.     Zane Pavlica, owner of Tumbleweed Bar, acquired this panoramic photo from the Laramie County Fair and Rodeo in 2012. The dates on the photo are Sept. 2, 3 and 4 but the year is unknown because the writing blends into the photo. Some of the vehicles in the photo are dated to be around 1938. Pine Bluffs vs. Upton-Sundance The #3 Hornets were on the road to Upton-Sundance to face the #1 undefeated Bobcats. This was the case this past Saturday at the 15th Annual 5K/1Mile Longhorn Stampede Fun Run/Walk. This year, there were 34 registered participants, but not all of them were local.     At 12:41 p.m. this past Sunday, Laramie County Fire District #5, as well as Pine Bluffs EMS and Pine Bluffs Police responded to a crashed plane at the Pine Bluffs Airport.
