Cheyenne, WY – March 17, 2024 at approximately 4:35 PM, LCFA responded to a wildland fire, started when a gas flare ignited, off County Road 134. The fire was extinguished by 5:52 p.m. Crews put out hot spots and cleared scene at 7:45 p.m. “The winds and dry conditions contributed to the fast spread along with difficult terrain and access.” Deputy Fire Chief Manny Muzquiz, LCFA.
