A call for assistance came across the channels from Banner County, Nebraska as a wildfire reached the stage of out of control. Pine Bluffs held their monthly town council meeting on Monday, after a busy weekend of Trail Days. Laramie County Fire District No. 5 after waiting a year, finally receive their new fire truck. The truck was approved by their board to purchase last year. Their decision was to buy the cab and chaissey from Spadley Barr in Cheyenne, but all the work to bring it to fire department level was done locally. Members from the Pine Bluffs Legion Post and Auxiliary prepared a meal complete with dessert and beverage at the Cheyenne Discipleship Center for a goup of homeless women and men, many which are veterans.
