Pine Bluffs, Burns, and Grover had their last games of the summer. On Thursday July 21 the Burns and Pine Bluffs ball fields were full with players and parents. These were the last games of the season, and the players and parents were tired by the end of it. Burns played Grover with Pee Wee, T-Ball and Sr. T- Ball. Trucks are usually lined up going to the elevators, but not so much this year. The Wheat harvest has started for 2022. They are in the middle of it right now, it started late because the fields were green which is not ripe. In Laramie County the yield has an average of 30 percent. But this year is different for traditional and organic farmers. Wheat is planted in winter to harvest in summer. This year the wheat was looking good until late May. The streets were lined with people who were attending or participating in the parades when you drove in to Albin. July 9th the list of activities were extensive for the town of Albin. Luck was being thrown around on Albin day. July 9th at 4:30 p.m. the Annual Horseshoe Tournament took place.
