The 6th grade class of Carpenter Elementary School used the Engineering Design Process to construct egg cars! They had to have a car that would drive straight for 2 meters. They had a budget and limited amount of supplies to use for their designs. The cars also had to protect the shell of an egg on impact at the end of the two meters! Over the past few weeks we’ve had some pretty decent snowfall with plenty of moisture and only a little of the 4-letter word, w***, that we don’t usually say out loud. The Game ball was given to a student that beat cancer. At Burns Elementary on February 9th in the gym was an assembly for the presentation by the University of Wyoming Basketball Coach Jeff Linder to Henry Dolan who has been fighting cancer for three years. In today's society our dependence on processed foods, fast foods, and snacks we seem to have forgotten the sheer pleasure of eating a home-cooked, leisurely meal with our family.
