The town of Albin city council is at the end of their rope with the burn pile in town. The council had a discussion about it at the Albin Council meeting on December 12, 2024. During the Sheriff's Office's Annual Awards Ceremony, Shane Blackmon, a local FedEx driver was awarded the Civilian Lifesaving Award.
