    The Sunset development is on hold and leases were approved, at the Burns Town council meeting on May 8th at 6:30 p.m. It started late due to the Utility board meeting being longer than normal. Larry Gallagher from Summit Engineering announced that Sunset development is on hold. His client was concerned about the cost of building material.     The beautiful dancers were excited to share Cinco de Mayo with the Carpenter Elementary School. All afternoon the staff helped teach about the celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of Mexico's victory in 1862. It was about a battle over the second French Empire at Puebla in Mexico that was led by General Ignacio Zaragoza.     The council in Burns is looking at buying new equipment for the town. The Burns Town council met April 24th at 5:30 p.m. This was a short meeting for the month with less discussion than normal.
