CASPER, Wyo. (September 12, 2023) –Yellow starthistle, highly invasive weed, was discovered on private land in Natrona County in August. The Natrona County Weed and Pest District (NCWP) is currently overseeing the management and eradication of the weed. Now, the area is fenced off to keep most wildlife and all livestock out. (April 19, 2022) – The Wyoming Weed and Pest Council (WWPC), in partnership with the North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA), is excited to announce a new twine color for NAISMA certified weed-free hay.
