A Pine Bluffs man is dead following a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday, August 24 in Cheyenne. Dennis Noack, 74, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 when the crash occurred at about 8:10 p.m. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Noack was driving a 2004 Toyota Solara when he rear-ended a 2016 Jeep Cherokee that was driven by 57-year-old Cheyenne resident Karl Musgrave. The Burns Lady Broncs had a rough start to their 2016 volleyball season, going 1-4 at the Lingle Invite. The statues of servicemen and women are moving out of town hall to a new home. Monday, September 12, veterans, local and state officials will be on hand to christen the Pine Bluffs Veterans' Memorial at Veteran's Plaza in Pine Bluffs. The memorial, which so far, will include statues of a U.S. Marine, Army Soldier, Navy Sailor and Air Force Airman, is the work of local volunteers, generous donors, the Wyoming Business Council among others. Laramie County firefighters kept plenty busy during the past week, responding to numerous calls including a fire near Burns that destroyed two structures nearly destroyed another. Pine Bluffs is getting back on its feet from last month's hailstorm and town officials are shifting to long-term recovery plans.
