Pine Bluffs police have identified two suspects in connection with the recent rash of burglaries, which involved the theft and subsequent recovery of firearms. According to PBPD Chief Justin Trout, the department has two suspects and a warrant for their arrest will be issued this week. Members of the Burns Utility Board discussed and approved an update to a sewer line Monday. The project will cost the town $210,000. AVI Engineer Scott Cowley told the board that there are two options: boring underground or digging a trench which would later be filled in. Farmers' State Bank is looking to expand and update its facility. A Pine Bluffs town employee's error led to the east portion of Pine Bluffs Park being closed. Pine Bluffs Deputy Clerk Rene Baker said a town employee errantly sprayed the wrong chemical on the grass, causing it to die. The mistake also affected the town baseball field.
