    A Pine Bluffs town employee's error led to the east portion of Pine Bluffs Park being closed. Pine Bluffs Deputy Clerk Rene Baker said a town employee errantly sprayed the wrong chemical on the grass, causing it to die. The mistake also affected the town baseball field.     Without much discussion, Pine Bluffs town councilors passed a budget for the 2016 – 2017 fiscal year. The budget must pass two further readings to become effective. Amendments to the budget can be proposed and passed during the second and third readings. There were no amendments during Monday's first reading.     Revenue and spending look to be up for the town of Burns. Burns town councilors passed the 2016-2017 budget during their monthly meeting April 11. The town anticipates receiving about $344,000 in revenue for the fiscal year, up from $333,000 from last year.
