Forty-eight pies and United Methodist Church volunteers raised about $1,000 Saturday during Trail Days to benefit Shirley Hall, a Pine Bluffs woman who is in a battle with cancer. Becky Martinez said the sale was a great success, selling slices and whole pies for donations. The 64th Pine Bluffs Trail Days kicks off July 30 this year and ends Aug. 3, giving everyone the opportunity to celebrate the town of Pine Bluffs and the passing of the Texas Trail through town.
