    There's a new veterinarian in town Even though she was going to have her nails done, it was not a spa day for Nikki the poodle at the Bluffs Veterinary Clinic in Pine Bluffs. Her family on both sides homesteaded the Wyoming/Nebraska and Wyoming/Colorado/Nebraska lines and are long time farmers of the area. She lived in Kimball, NE until the age of 15.   • County test of the Emergency Outdoor Warning Siren System

    The Cheyenne/Laramie County Emergency Management Agency will be testing the Outdoor Warning Siren system promptly at 12:00 p.m. Friday January 5, 2018 for ALL sirens within Laramie County. The warning system will sound a steady signal for a period of 1 to 3 minutes. During an actual emergency, when residents hear the sirens they should take cover immediately and tune into a local radio or television station to receive additional emergency information.     With an 80% riding average this year, Brenson Bartlett, at the young age of 11 placed 3rd in the world at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was also named the 2015 NFR champion. During his visit to Las Vegas Bartlett scored a total of 74 points in the second round, and another 77 1/2 points in the short round which qualified him for 3rd place.
