Pine Bluffs is seeing the end of the first business to open its doors on Parsons St. Anyone driving up the street today would have seen a hollowed out shell of a building that used to be the Sinclair. In 1957, after the completion of the interstate, Standard Oil approached brothers and partners Allen Jones and Jack Hildebrand and asked them to run their service station. Already in the fuel business, Allen and Hildebrand were running the gas station on Elm Street and decided to pack up and move o...

I’ve heard of elderberry all my life, but I’ve never paid any attention to it until recently when I began to learn of some of its medicinal properties. All I’d heard before was how good elderberry wine is. I’ve never tasted it and, as far as I know, I’ve never even seen it. Since I don’t drink, I never had a reason to even raise an eyebrow. Then I met Dan Young, a naturopath in Cheyenne who introduced me to elderberry, along with many other medical herbs and plants. That tweaked my interest. So I’m adding elderberry to my list of articles on t...

They then organized the materials gathered and took them to Kimball to the recycling plant....

In a constant state of preparedness that is typical of our military, the Field Detachment Training Facility trains 650 Airmen per population in...
