    The Burns Broncs had a heavy schedule last week and they put a lot of miles in, traveling to both Mitchell, Neb. and Lusk. At Mitchell The week of action started in Mitchell, Neb. last Tuesday. The host Tigers edged the Broncs 11-8 in the first quarter of play and padded their lead in the second to take a 25-14 advantage into the break.     The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets played just one game last week but it was another big step toward defending their 2A state crown. The team traveled to Glenrock last Saturday and came away with a 50-36 win to improve to 11-0. Pine Bluffs got out to a 19-13 lead in the first quarter and took a 29-20 lead into halftime. Both teams scored 12 in the third and the Lady Hornets pulled away for good in the final quarter to get the win.
