Stephen Nelson and Jennifer Gorman of Cheyenne are the proud parents of a baby boy, Braxton Stephen Nelson. Braxton was born at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at 7:31 a.m. He weighed 7 pounds 4 and a half ounces and was 20 inches long. The Hornets vs. Saratoga game that began neck-and-neck Friday night ended in a 14-point lead for Pine Bluffs. The first half ended with Saratoga and the Hornets tied 12 and 12, but it didn't take long for the Hornets to widen the margin in the second quarter, 27-17. Friday night's home game against Saratoga brought an easy win for the Lady Hornets. After an earlier match with Saratoga, Pine Bluffs was confident they could repeat the routing of the visiting team. Robert Leroy Eisenhauer, 85, of Cheyenne (formerly of Laramie) died Jan. 31in Cheyenne. He was born May 22, 1928, in Wolbach, Neb., to Harry and Truly (Padgett) Eisenhauer. The family moved to Pine Bluffs in 1942 where he graduated high school in 1947. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1948-1952, including two amphibious landings at Inchon and Wonsan during the Korean Conflict.
