    Zachary Laux|Apr 24, 2014

  • Albin News

    Monte Lerwick and Charlene Smith|Apr 24, 2014

The weather turned the corner to spring this past weekend. What a great time to get out and freshen up the green turf around our homes. Earth Day was Tuesday and we often take this time of the year to clean our little patch of the earth. If you have waste to get rid of after cleaning, check with the town before dumping certain items from your lawns into the dumpsters. The town is restricted on what it can take to the landfill but you can take grass, tree limbs and other cleanup items to the...

1 years ago April 24, 2014 Trinidad, Colo., April 21.- Thirty three dead, more than two-thirds of them women and children; a score missing and more than a score wounded, is the toll know tonight to have been taken by the fourteen-hour battle which raged Monday and last night with uninterrupted fury between state troops and striking coal miners in Ludlow district. The death list is growing hourly. Ludlow camp is a mass of charred debris and buried beneath it is a story of horror unparallel in the history of industrial warfare. In the holes...

As more and more producers move from a conventional winter wheat/summer fallow cropping rotation to a continuous no-till crop production system we are moving towards healthier soil. No-till crop production systems that include continuous diverse crop...
