    Fun hats and fancy outfits along with happy-go-luck fun loving dogs were at the Fourth Annual Corgi Derby races on May 7th at Pine Bluffs Distilling in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. Pine Bluff Distilling hosts the event with the Cheyenne Animal Shelter to raise money to help the animals in Laramie County. There were over 400 people who attended the races this year. Burns Town council met on May 9th at 6:30 p.m. Carrie Clark addressed the council about someone almost getting hit by some kid leaving the school. She was asking for sheriff's being on 3rd street after school.     As predicted, the Wyoming Republican Party denied Laramie County voters a place at the table when it comes time to provide input into Republican Party politics in Wyoming. In a 15-8 vote, the Credentials Committee recommended that the Laramie County delegation should not be permitted to participate in the biennial Republican Convention.     The Burns Broncs track and field team traveled to Pine Bluffs, Wyoming to compete in the Pine Bluffs Field Event Extravaganza. Since there were no races only the field event competitors were able to participate. The Broncs put many of the athletes in the top three but were not able to top the third position.     The Burns Broncs boys track and field team traveled to Goshen County, Wyoming to compete in the 2022 Wiseman Invite track and field meet.
