    The Hornets sports season ended with another trip to the state championship. The Hornets track and field team had several members qualify for the state championship tournament this year. Members like Mitchell Birkhofer, Shawn Shmidl, Carsten Freeburg and Jesus Solis just to name a few. The team did well and made a good showing.     The Lady Hornets had a great sports season. The volleyball team went to state for the first time in four years. The team had a winning season and went 1-2 at state.
