    The streets were lined with people who were attending or participating in the parades when you drove in to Albin. July 9th the list of activities were extensive for the town of Albin. At the fire station starting at 8 a. m. the Burns FFA sponsored a pancake breakfast to help get everyone kick started for the days festivities. At 9:30 a.m. the kids' parade hit the streets.     New signs are coming to Burns. The Burns council met on July 11th at 6:30 p.m. for their regular meeting. Shepherd's Closet thanked the council for the rooms in the South Burns Plex. They have been there for 10 years. The Burns town council thanked them for their service and their hard work. Lions Club report given by president Kayla Madler. In July there was no meeting. They did ask to use the South Burns Plex on October 22 for October fest. County Club with be playing and they are working on signing a polka band. There will be early voting...

    Sprinkles and syrups lined the table. On the Fourth of July the Pine Bluffs Lions Club hosted an Ice Cream Social. The Pine Bluffs Lions Club is always looking to help others out. This time it was for the Pine Bluffs Historical Society that the Pine Bluffs Lions Club was raising money for. The ice cream social was from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p. m. at the Pine Bluffs Park.     After over 10 years of being a minister, Pastor Gale Graves has retired. She started in the Hillsdale Methodist Church then moved to the Carpenter Methodist Church until they closed the church. She worked in Cheyenne helping some at Grace United Methodist Church. Before that, Graves was a teacher for Laramie County District School #1.     The clippers were sharp and the clean clothes were ready. Crossroads Community Church was doing the Make A Difference Day on June 25th that is an all day event. This started last year. The Church realized the people in town needed help. They had some that called in and filled out a paper out on what they needed done. This year they had eight places to work on for others in town.     Luck was being thrown around on Albin day. July 9th at 4:30 p.m. the Annual Horseshoe Tournament took place. The horseshoe pits were filled by five teams playing for the honor of being called the best "horseshoesmen" in town. Each player on the team is at opposite pits with another team.     The bean bags were flying across the tundra during The Second Annual Cornhole Tournament at 4:30 p.m. on July 9th at Albin Day. This year the adults and the kids had separate brackets.     A while back we wrote about a group of students from Burns High School that wanted to participate in a trap and skeet shooting team. Bryce Humphrey, Kody Foley and Madison Foley found a team in Cheyenne.     The sky was clear and the heat was tolerable as spectators watched the night sky. The end of the Albin Day celebration on July 9th at 9:30 p.m. the Laramie County Fire District No. 3 put on one heck of a fireworks show.
