    Residents of Pine Bluffs shook their groove things well into the wee hours of the morning at the 69th annual Trail Days street dance this last weekend. Boogie Machine discoed all night long with giant afros and vintage hot pants while children and adults alike danced to their hearts content. No one went hungry this weekend as Estela Wagner was on hand with barbecued pulled pork and brisket that you could smell from a mile away!     A new addition to Saturday's parade was a vehicle added to honor three fallen past members of the Trail Days committee. The cherry red Dodge Dart rode the parade bearing the names of the three past grand marshals: Jim Mueller, Shirley Lemaster Hall, and Kathy Mohren. Carolyn Winter remembers Jim Mueller fondly as a man who loved the rodeo. He was born September 3, 1940 in Keith County, Nebraska to Lyle and Elaine Leona (Autrey) Fuller. He married Virginia "Gini" on April 26, 2000 in Las Vegas.     Competing at different levels, brothers Ethan and Colton Bomberger of Pine Bluffs have earned themselves quite a following of ribbons, buckles and more. The brothers recently competed at the Scotts Bluffs County Fair and the results brought prideful smiles on their faces.   • More Vesicular Stomatitis cases found in Wyoming

    CHEYENNE: Additional confirmed cases of Vesicular Stomatitis (VSV), a reportable animal disease, have been found in Platte County, Laramie County, and Converse County recently. National Veterinary Services Laboratory reported the disease to the Wyoming state veterinarian after testing samples that were submitted by regulatory veterinarians in late July and early August. The samples came from horses with oral lesions suggestive of VSV. Other potentially affected animals in Platte County are being investigated by Wyoming Livestock Board (WLSB)...

    For the third year in a row "Off in the Woods" was able to pull out another win in the annual Trail Days mud volleyball tournament.     Residents of Pine Bluffs started lining up early to watch the 69th annual Trail Days Pathways to the West parade. Lead by the local Donald Eisenhauer Post #60 American Legion Color Guard, the parade gave residents a chance to see some of their neighbors and collect some candy. The lions Club was in the park completing one of their annual service missions as they served a brisket, hamburgers, and hot dogs to hungry locals and visitors alike, and several vendors pitched their tents in the park....
