One sure sign that summer is now over was the Mini Me Triathlon held Sunday afternoon in Pine Bluffs. Participants were...

The middle of the state in the middle of the country is Des Moines, Iowa’s state capit...

I am ok with that and it is my favorite time of the year. The goat heads and sand burrs are sure in their prime right now and many of them seem to find their way into the house. They hide out somewhere and jump out in front of me just so that I can step on them and push them as far into my feet as possible. I have lost... Full story

Have you ever experienced something amazing or beautiful or both at the cost of something tragic. It could have been a prodigal son or daughter coming home for a family funeral and reuniting with loved ones. It could be a divorce that leads to a happy marriage.
