    Every year in school there are always new students, and quite often new teachers, also. It just happens that there are 13 new teachers this year for Laramie County School District #2. These teachers will be in different schools throughout the district. The Laramie County School District #2 board is always sad to lose a teacher but they are thrilled it is only 13 new teachers.     The town of Burns is trying to improve their town in many different ways. The Burns Town Council meet on August 26th. Laura Hunter and the council have been working on the exercise room at the Burns building. With the help of Aaron Bolejack, there have been donations of newer equipment.     Pine Bluffs residents were curious and excited for the new art in town. People were stopping and trying to see exactly what the sculptor was doing.     The equipment may not be new but to many of the Burns Volunteer Fire Department it was new. The department has had small air bag lift capabilities for a while, but they have now been equipped with the larger and heavier lifting bags.     The Pine Bluffs Roping Club had their second 12.5 handicap team roping event last Friday. The club usually puts on a 10.5 handicap event but for a couple of nights move it to a 12.5 handicap.     Brady McKinney, a fifth grader at Burns Elementary School found gold at the Pine Bluffs Trail Days Junior Rodeo On Saturday, August 3. McKinney won the gold belt buckle in the junior breakaway event. McKinney has been competing for the past three years and is very good at it.
