A little over two weeks ago a letter from Mrs. Lola Nussbaum, of Grover, Colo., was received in the mail and it was addressed to the editor of the Pine Bluffs Post. It began with some rather nice compliments for the paper, which were appreciated and hopefully merited. Cynthia "Cindy" Louise Rieger, peacefully entered heaven's gates on Monday, August 21, 2017. She was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on January 3, 1947. Cindy and her family moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1982 and shortly thereafter she divorced. As a newly single mother determined to provide for her children, she sought work at the Casper Recreation Center and was employed for over 15 years. Susan Lucille Seman, 65 of Pittsburgh (Baldwin), Pennyslvania passed away at home surrounded by family on August 24, 2017. She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Daniel J. Seman and three children, D.J. Seman (Ashley) of Senoia, Ga., Katrina McLeod (Jay) of Franklin, Pa. and Gregory Seman (Stacie) of Moon Township, Pa., three grandchildren Trey Seman, Cheyenne Seman and Caroline Seman. The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets Volleyball team started play in the 2017 season at the Lingle-Ft. Laramie Dogger Invitational Tournament last Friday, August 25. The non-conference tournament pitted teams from southern Wyoming against those from the northern part of the state. The tournament has been hosted by the Lingle-Ft. Laramie Doggers since the high school at Albin closed. Albin had hosted the tournament for years until the closure and the Doggers jumped at the opportunity to fill the void....

The Pawnee Coyotes Football team is on hiatus for the 2017 season.
