    Town parks, water, and clean up was on the minds of the residents and the council at the Burns Town council meeting on September 9th, after the Utility board meeting. Mayor Joseph Nicholson was not feeling well and therefore did not attend the meeting.     As if on cue the storm broke and the sun shone thru, 15 minutes before the team meeting. The Pine Bluffs Town council was able to walk into town hall without getting drenched or blown over. Don was born July 29, 1931 to Esther and David Porter at the Reichley homestead near Grover. Don was a farmer/rancher his entire life and also worked numerous side jobs throughout much of his life.     The Pine Bluffs Hornets football team got the 2024-25 season off to a great start. The Hornets traveled to Shoshoni to face the Wranglers in a non-conference game.
