    During the eclipse on August 21, 2017 Brooklyn Christensen was in Morrill, Nebraska. She was able to see a full eclipse for two full minutes. She wasn't able to get any good pictures to have for memory for future reference. The way she protected her phone's camera was by putting the eclipse glasses on it then tried to take pictures.     Shane Aaron Malm, 43, of Scottsbluff died peacefully at University Hospital in Aurora, CO. Burial service were held September 11, 2017, in Scottsbluff NE. Shane was born January 3, 1974 to Lee and Charlene Malm. He was afflicted with a birth defect causing life long issues but it never stop him from participating in sports, 4H, or helping others.     The Pine Bluffs/Burns XC team traveled our shortest distance of the year to Kimball, Nebraska for our annual meet at the Four Winds Golf Course. Most of the harriers have run this course so this was an "old race" for them. This was a quick meet with only three races--all JH, HS girls, and ending with HS boys.
