    Victoria Smithey Pine Bluffs Post|Oct 24, 2019

The Pine Bluffs Senior Center hosted the annual craft fair again this last Saturday, and turn out was a little low, but not to worry as there are still two more fairs before Christmas. A few of the expected vendors were unable to attend as they had commitments in Kimball, but all should be present during the November 2nd craft fair. Please come out and support your local artisans. During my time at the fair I was able to sit down with Senior Center Director Alisha Michaud and talk a little bit...

  • Pumpkins-all around vegetable

Mike Heath Laramie County Master Gardners|Oct 24, 2019

October. This time of year brings back memories of the Halloweens of my childhood. Spiced apples, bobbing for apples, caramel apples, popcorn balls and, of course, jack o'lanterns. Make that pumpkins in disguise. This holiday was a big one for my mother. She just loved scaring the neighbor kids and that just meant that there were always a lot of them that came to our front door. Halloween back then wasn't near as scary (in a dangerous sense) as it is today. The streets were loaded with kids and...

    A Rousseau|Oct 24, 2019

Our kids are coming in off of a rest week, since our Cheyenne Meet was canceled due to weather--not sure if/when that has ever happened during the XC Season before. Today was amazing. I couldn’t think of a better way to wrap up the “regular” season. We completed our race day at the Plain’s Ice Cream shop… which if you have never stopped at, you are missing out. We ran two races--Girls and Boys (JV and Varsity races were ran together and scored separately). Our kids showed us what all our hard work was for today. They came to race!!! With the...
