    Every quarter a student foam both high schools, Burns and Pine Bluffs get rewarded for their hard work. The Lions Clubs of Burns and Pine Bluffs like to encourage students to be successful.     Through joint efforts of the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Center (SAREC) and the University of Wyoming Extension’s Cent$ible Nutrition Program (CNP), Food Bank of Wyoming was once again the recipient of over 12,500 pounds of potatoes harvested through the annual Potato Harvest.     After starting the season off with a 6-0 record the Hornets varsity football team has lost their last two regular season games. Most recently the Hornets lost to the Southeast Cyclones 20-30. It was a disappointing loss for the Hornets but did not knock them out of the post season. The loss takes the team to 5-2 in conference play and knocks them down to third in the conference.     Last Saturday the Pine Bluffs/Burns cross country track team competed in the state cross country meet. The meet was held at the Cheyenne Country Club. All Wyoming Schools run at the same meet for State—but in their respective classifications.
