    This past weekend a family found a odd looking skunk wandering around in their farm yard. The skunk did not seem to be scared of people, when a skunk is seemingly unbothered by human presence in the day it is possible that it is rabid. “If you have been observing an animal and are worried it might be rabid, it is best to call animal control.” stated Dr. William S.     Albert S. "Syd" Martin, 90, of Burns, Wyoming, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Syd was born September 24, 1927, in Burns, the son of Albert D. and Marie D. (Hardy) Martin. He married the love of his life Shirley Jean Edwards of Laramie on May 23, 1954. Syd was a graduate of Burns High School and the University of Wyoming where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.     Mattson Ranch does more than plant a seed!! On the Mattson Ranch there are very few employees but a lot of harvest. This ranch is specifically known for growing, harvesting and cleaning all of their own certified seed wheat and seed millet.
