This year, members of the Pine Bluffs Lions Club continued their annual tradition of helping another nonprofit organization by ringing bells for the Salvation Army of Cheyenne in front of the Texas Trail Market. Eight members of the Lions Club braved some cold weather to ring bells for a total of 18 hours on Dec. 3-5. Pine Bluffs residents were generous as always with their donations, and every penny they dropped into the Salvation Army's red kettle goes to help people in Laramie County....

The Department of Family Services (DFS) has been allocated $1.5 million in Wyoming CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act funds to provide relief to families who experienced an increase in child care expenses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
