    During the Sheriff's Office's Annual Awards Ceremony, Shane Blackmon, a local FedEx driver was awarded the Civilian Lifesaving Award. On August 20th, 2024, while delivering packages on his route, Shane Blackmon noticed a passenger car overturned on railroad tracks in the 600 block of I-80 Service Road and a female setting by the car.     Trichomoniasis, commonly referred to as “trich,” was recently identified in a Lincoln County herd. Trichomoniasis is a venereal disease of cattle caused by the protozoa Tritrichomonas foetus.     Shawn Shmidl is a member of the 2024 Wyoming State Football Champions Pine Bluffs Hornets. He has been a member of the team since his freshman year and has received three championship rings out of his four seasons.
