    Council looks at options for town buildings Several properties owned by the Town of Pine Bluffs are scheduled to be either torn down, repaired or put up for bid for sale. Bids were recently opened by the Pine Bluffs Town Council and the lowest bid for demolition work was submitted by Pine Bluffs Gravel and Excavating. A list of buildings being looked at by the council includes the old Texaco station, the old electric shop, cemetery building #2, the east shop and the Connors building/museum....

    Jim Moore, 81, of Albin, Wyoming, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the Albin Community Center. Jim was born March 17, 1936 in Burns. He graduated from Albin High School and then joined the United States Army, serving in Korea. He attended the University of Wyoming and University of Alaska.     Edward A. “Ed” Kranz, 62, of Carpenter, Wyoming, passed away December 19, 2017 after losing a battle with cancer. Ed was born February 13, 1955, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a son of Walter G. and Norma J. (Harms) Kranz. Ed began his working career for Halladay Motors and later for the Pine Bluffs John Deere dealership. He transitioned to working for Bill Gross’ ranch and Pete Anderson’s ranch until establishing his own repair business.     James Ross Harnish, Sr. 85, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away December 20th, 2017, at Davis Hospice Center. He was born January 9th, 1932 in Horse Creek, Wyoming to Charles and Bonnie, one of nine siblings. After graduating Wheatland High School, he served in the Army as a musician. He attended the University of Wyoming earning a Civil Engineering degree in 1956. Jim went on to work for the Wyoming Highway Department for 32 years.     H. Richard Lewis (Dick) was born January 14, 1928 to Harry D. Lewis and Clara G. De Longpre Lewis on a farm north of Broadwater, Nebraska. He was the youngest of five children. Dick graduated from Albin High School, Albin, Wyoming in 1945. He received his BA degree from Olivet Nazarene University, Kankakee, Illinois in 1949.
