    The eggs were stuffed and the firefighters were ready for the egg huntin' kids. Laramie Country Fire District #6 hosted their second annual Easter Egg hunt in the town of Burns at the playground by the Burns town hall. The firefighters worked on preparing the eggs the night before the hunt. They even stuffed two Easter baskets to raffle off during the festivities.     The numbers were posted at the participating businesses and the eggs was stuffed and ready to be hidden by the Pine Bluffs Lions Club. This event was started about 100 years ago. In the past the Easter Egg Hunt was held on the golf course in the bluffs of Pine Bluffs. But with the weather this winter the roads were too rough for the cars to be up on the bluffs.     A special meeting of the Town of Pine Bluffs council was held with little town citizens showing up. The main focus of the meeting was in the new business. This was discussed once the agenda and consent agenda were approved. Resolution 2023-07 was first on the agenda.     There were some concern about the cleaning bid for the Town of Burns. The Burns Town Council met on March 27th for their second regular meeting of the month. Mayor Jim Clark had several issues to report on. First was his concern with the cleaning bid from Shawntelle Young.     Pine Bluffs has a new Police Chief in town. Austin Smith has had the honor to be chosen for the position. Smith has been in law enforcement for 12 years. He started in Dawson County up by Chadron, Nebraska working in the County Sheriff's office. Smith was there for three and a half years.     Three Burns High School students had the honor to be chosen for the Dandies. The Cheyenne Frontier Days Dandies were founded in 1970. Arlene Kensinger was the one that started the drill team.
