    Lines of booths and a set schedule of presentations was at the Albin Community Center. After two years of waiting the Southeast Wyoming Expo was determined to have it on February 9, 2022.     The Game ball was given to a student that beat cancer. At Burns Elementary on February 9th in the gym was an assembly for the presentation by the University of Wyoming Basketball Coach Jeff Linder to Henry Dolan who has been fighting cancer for three years. The cancer was acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This cancer affects the B lymphocytes. These are the white blood cells that grow in the soft center of your bones called marrow.     Water rates are going to rise, minimally, as well as the town is drilling a new well. These were some of the items discussed at Monday, February 14, town council meeting. The town of Pine Bluffs which has not raised their water rates since 2014, has felt the pressure of costs concerning wells, main line breakage and other cost items.     Council member Judy Johnstone tried to get the liability insurance back on the leases. Burns council met February 14th at 6:30 p.m. The Burns Lions Club reported on Burns day. They have picked a theme, Burns n’ 22. Their grand marshal will be Harvey and Jere Humphrey. They will have the same events except no softball but will try 4x4 volleyball. Recently while responding to a semi trailer fire on the Interstate, I personally observed how important the emergency lanes are to fire and rescue operations.
