Last week while returning from Archer, on Highway 30 heading to Pine Bluffs, traffic came to a halt due to a road closure sign that had been blown over into the east bound lanes. Two wonderful citizens jumped out of their trash truck, picked up the sign and moved it out of the way for safety of all drivers. The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office’s mental health unit has been certified by the Department of Health to complete Addiction Severity Index (ASI) assessments. Inmates cannot apply for addiction treatment beds or be sentenced until an ASI has been completed.
