Thanks to everyone who attended the bookstore’s anniversary celebration! We had a great day surrounded by friends. We also had a fun visitor at the bookstore last week — a woman from California who is distantly related to the namesake of our town, Cornelius Bushnell. The village board met last week. They passed an ordinance to change the monthly meetings from the second Thursday of each month to the second Wednesday of each month, starting in July. The Albin Baptist Church hosted their vacation bible school this week. The hungry youngsters were well fed with Bible verses, songs, fun and of course food.
