Pine Bluffs Rodeo Grounds hosted the 38th annual Buzz Bradley Memorial Roping event on Saturday, Aug. 15. Early Saturday morning before 7:00 a.m. runners and walkers gathered at the starting point for their event. Runners consisted of forty-four individuals looking to run the distance of three miles, while nine walkers walked a distance of one mile. Beau Scarborough, a 2019 graduate of Pine Bluffs High School still chases his dream of being one of the best in bronc riding. Scarborough will be starting his second year at Casper College in the fall. With this, comes riding for the college rodeo. Due to the COVID-19, rodeos were cancelled for the college this spring. Dave Crouse won support for his plans from the Pine Bluffs Town Council during its meeting Monday night, when he announced he would replace target faces and hay bales used at the archery course in the bluffs south of town.
