    The Burns Lady Broncs didn’t let a slow start ruin their weekend when they traveled to Douglas for their first volleyball matches of the year. Burns went 4-2 during the two-day invitational tournament. In their first match against the Lady Bearcats, the Lady Broncs went 0 - 2, losing their first game 10-25 and their second 5-25. They subsequently dropped their next match 0-2 against Big Horn. Apparently, after that, the Lady Broncs were tired of losing.     Runners from Pine Bluffs and Burns started their cross country season in Casper Friday, Aug. 24 with reason to be hopeful about the upcoming year. “This is a great baseline time and hard meet to gauge the rest of the season from,” coach Ashley Rousseau said in an email.
