  • HORNETS HEADING TO STATE

    Zach Spadt|May 17, 2018

Following second-place finishes at the Eastern Wyoming Track and Field Regional Meet over the weekend, the Pine Bluffs Hornets and Lady Hornets have reason to be optimistic. Just ask head coach Dustin Lee who said his team has a strong chance of bringing back some hardware. But things have to go the right way. It's not going to be easy though with a strong Lovell team predicted to be a front-runner at this year's state meet. "If Lovell has some bad things happen and we have some kids perform...

    Zach Spadt|May 10, 2018

Pine Bluffs track and field head coach Dustin Lee was pleasantly surprised in Glenrock last weekend. "The girls winning was a nice feather in our cap," Lee said. "I knew we could win, but it was going to take getting people in events they're not normally in and having some kids do better than normal. "And they did awesome. Several strong performances in Pine Bluffs landed Burns a third-place finish at the Pine Bluffs invitational track meet Thursday, April 19. Keenan Manlove was the only Bronc to outright win an event. His 10-07.00 effort in the pole vault carried him to first place in that event, ahead of Boe Clayson who finished with a 10-01.00 vault.
