    The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets played just one game last week but it was another big step toward defending their 2A state crown. The team traveled to Glenrock last Saturday and came away with a 50-36 win to improve to 11-0. Pine Bluffs got out to a 19-13 lead in the first quarter and took a 29-20 lead into halftime. Both teams scored 12 in the third and the Lady Hornets pulled away for good in the final quarter to get the win.     The Pine Bluffs Hornets are showing everybody in Wyoming they are the real deal and the unanimous choice for the #1 spot in the 2A Southeast standings.     The Burns Broncs have a 2-7 record after going 0-4 in Yoder last weekend. Last Friday, the Broncs took on the Big Horn Rams in the morning. The Rams led 11-10 in the first quarter and pulled away in the second to take a 29-14 advantage at halftime.     The Burns Lady Broncs stand at 2-8 on the season after a tough weekend that saw the squad go 1-3 in Yoder. After taking off for the Christmas break, the Lady Broncs opened the new year fighting and clawing for every win. Last Friday, the girls fell 48-23 to Big Horn and then lost 40-30 to Shoshoni later in the day.
