    The Pawnee Coyotes ended their season Feb. 24 with a 71-51 loss to the Weldon Valley Warriors in the first round of 1A - District 4 playoffs in Sterling. The Coyotes fell behind 24-19 in the first quarter and the Warriors continued to outpace their opponents in the second frame 15-12 to take a 39-31 lead into the break.     The Pawnee Coyotes suffered a pair of non-conference losses last week to end the regular season at 5-14. Last Thursday, the boys were off to Anton, Colo. to play Arikaree/Woodlin, coming away with a 67-39 loss. Pawnee stayed within reach in the first half, trailing 13-11 in the first and 26-21 at the break.
