The Burns/Pine Bluffs wrestling program held a wrestling clinic last Friday at the Burns Junior/Senior high school. The clinic was held by a very knowledgeable female wrestler, Kaylynn Albrecht. Albrecht is on the National Wrestling team and has been chosen to participate in the Olympic try-outs. She attended school in Texas where she was a top wrestler in high school and college. Emily Haas, the hard-hitting volleyball spiker for the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets volleyball team has found a home to continue her athletic career. Haas has signed with the Sterling College Warriors. She will be attending Sterling College located in Sterling, Kansas next fall under a volleyball scholarship. "The school has a good biology and science program," she said.
