On Monday October 9th the Pine Bluffs High School started their homecoming week activities. There were fun activities all week long both at school and after. The Pine Bluffs Hornets varsity football team maintained their undefeated record by beating the Saratoga Panthers last Friday night. The team traveled to Saratoga to face the Panthers in an in-conference game and proved why they are in the number one spot. The Hornets won the contest 33-6. The Hornets win takes them to 6-0 for a seasonal record and keeps them atop the conference leader board with a 5-0 conference record. The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets traveled to Shoshoni to compete in a match against the Wright Lady Panthers and the Shoshoni Lady Wranglers. The Wright Lady Panthers are ranked number one in the 2A Northeast conference, and the Shoshoni Lady Wranglers are ranked third in the same conference. The Burns Broncs JV football team dominated the Southeast Cyclones last Monday in Burns. The junior Broncs are playing good football and dominating their opponents. Last week against the Cyclones the Broncs scored 55 points. The defense was strong and held the Cyclones to only 14 points. All the Cyclone points came in the fourth quarter.
