On Tuesday, September 19th the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets junior varsity saw action against the Guernsey-Sunrise Lady Vikings in a volleyball match. The Pine Bluffs Hornets JV football team hosted the Lingle/Ft Laramie Doggers last Monday afternoon. The junior Hornets are coming off a loss to the Kimball Longhorns and are looking to redeem themselves. Ryan Mohren, running back for the Hornets varsity football team was named the WyoPrep's Athlete of the week for week one of the 2023 football season. Mohren, who is one of the smallest players on the team at 5ft 7in and 160 lbs was the offensive star of the Hornets opening game against the Shoshoni Wranglers. Two weeks ago was going to be the last but Mother Nature has been generous with her dishing out of great weather that the club was able to have another competition last Friday.
