    The Lady Broncs traveled to Goshen County in Wyoming to compete in the T-Town Qualifier Meet. The Lady Broncs didn’t do as well as their counterparts finishing fourth in the meet. Still it was a good showing for the Lady Broncs and several of the Broncs did very well. 25 of the Lady Broncs finished in the top 10 and nine finished in the top three.     The Lady Hornets flew to Goshen County to Wiseman Field for the T-Town Qualifier Track and Field Meet. The Lady Hornets fared well finishing sixth in the meet. Some of the leading athlete opted not to participate in some of the events as they have already qualified for post season meets.     The Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) Board of Directors announced that Trevor Wilson will be the next commissioner of the WHSAA effective July 1, 2023. Wilson brings an experienced background in the educational realm of this position.     Cheyenne Central High Schools Athletic Director selected as the new Associate Commissioner of the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA). The WHSAA Board of Directors approved the nomination of Chad Whitworth in a meeting last Tuesday as the new Associate Commissioner.     The Hornets boy's track and field team were on the track last Friday for the Kendra Roeder Invite Track and Field meet. Teams from all over the state competed in the ice-cold conditions on the field. Athletes and spectators alike were all trying to stay warm and out of the wind.     The Wyoming State Volleyball Champions, the Burns Lady Broncs traveled to Cody, Wyoming to compete in the Northwest Champions Challenge tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Wyoming Club Volleyball. This is an AAU sanctioned organization that helps promote volleyball at different age groups.     The Burns Lady Broncs Track And Field team traveled to Pine Bluffs on April 21st for the Kendra Roeder Invite meet. The meet was held in the icebox that was the Hornets Stadium.     In the Kendra Roeder Invite held in Pine Bluffs the Burns Broncs Boys Track and Field team dominated. The team took first place in the boys division and had someone in the top three in almost every event. The meet also nick-named the Freezer Meet, due to the wind chills that were well below the freezing mark, had 13 teams all trying to stay warm and out of the wind.     The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets participated in the Kendra Roeder Invite that was held at the Pine Bluffs High School stadium.     The Hornets track and field team took to the road on Monday to take the trip to Burns for the Burns Invite track and field meet. The weather could not have been better.     The town of Burns hosted the Burns Invite Track and Field meet on Monday. The meet was scheduled for last Saturday but was moved due to weather. Fourteen teams were invited to the meet. The state champions have another feather in their cap as Coach Ward has been chosen as one of Wyoming Coaches Association (WCA) Winter Sports 2A Girls Coach of the Year for basketball.
