The Burns Broncs football team traveled to Glenrock, Wyoming to take on the Herders in a conference game last Friday. Three Burns residents are still wrestling in the area. Gavyn Muirheid, Caysen Ross and Axyl Ross all of Burns, Wyoming wrestled in the RMN Cosmic Clash wrestling tournament held in Denver, Colorado on September 24th. RMN Events who promotes the games is one of the worlds largest promoters of these tournaments. The Pine Bluffs Hornets Varsity football team continued their race for the state championship last Friday with a battle against the Moorcroft Wolves. The battle was one sided as the Hornets dominated the Wolves as they have with their last three opponents. The Hornets offense was on target and relentless. Pine Bluffs/Burns cross country track team traveled to Saratoga, Wyoming to compete in the Shana Ward Memorial 2022. On Friday, September 23rd the track team raced against 15 other schools in a meet that was flooded with confusing information and missed timings. The Burns Lady Broncs Volleyball team had a homecoming game against Lingle last Friday. In a best of 5 match the Broncs were able to beat the Doggers in four games winning the match 3-1. Last Thursday the Burns/Pine Bluffs cross country track team traveled to Sinclair for the Rawlins Invitational Cross Country track meet. It wasn’t an ideal day for the team but they did well.
